The Fervor will release “Yellowwood” on Sept. 18 via Virtual Label/CTD Ltd. Originally appearing on the final Louisville Is For Lovers compilation in 2010, this single is being made available digitally for the first time. Recorded live to tape at The Funeral Home Studio by Kevin Ratterman (My Morning Jacket, Wax Fang, VHS Or Beta), the song combines some of Americana’s best traits culminating in an explosive, cinematic finale.
The band’s latest album, Arise, Great Warrior, is available here on vinyl (w/ download), CD via SonaBLAST! and digitally from Removador. The limited edition Green Belt split 7” featuring them and Wussy can be found at www.sakistore.net. The Fervor’s next show is Sept. 1 at Zanzabar with TV Mike & the Scarecrowes.
