The Belt Series No. 1: The White Belt
Karate Body Records is proud to present the first of 9 in a series of split 7 inches. The series will consist of nine singles, from 18 artists. All limited edition, all on colored vinyl with custom packaging. These will not be available digitally.
We kick things off with The White Belt, and two new songs by two fine craftsmen — “Anita” by Pokey LaFarge and “Lately At A Lesser Table” by Joe Manning.
Both artists bring a unique symmetry to this belt, each celebrating their own brand of old-world classicism shot through with youthful, literary vitality.
This single is limited to 500 copies, 300 of which will be sold by Karate Body directly and in stores. The other 200 will be divided among the two artists for sale at their shows.
