This is the solo project of Johnny Quaid, a founding member of My Morning Jacket who played on the group’s first three albums, The Tennessee Fire, At Dawn and It Still Moves. Slight Spell will be released in stores in the U.S. on Tuesday, Feb. 16 on LP. CD and digital formats will be released by Removador Recordings & Solutions, the new label run by Quaid and MMJ frontman Jim James.
Each of the first 500 LPs is hand-numbered and contains a card you can redeem for a free download of the full album. Cost is $12, shipping not included.
