Pokey LaFarge and the South City Three are en route to England for a taping of Later with Jools Holland. Pokey tweeted earlier today to keep your eyes peeled on BBC2 on New Year’s Eve.

Pokey LaFarge returns from his latest European tour to perform at Third Man Records tomorrow and Ryman Auditorium on Thursday, when he opens for The Raconteurs. Joe Manning will perform with special guests May 29 at The Brown Theatre, where he’ll for Oscar-winning duo The Swell Season. Tickets are $35 and the show begins at 7 p.m. Details are here. Manning’s previously unreleased song, “Lately at a Lesser Table” appears on the limited edition White Belt 7-inch with Pokey LaFarge. We’ve had some copies of The White Belt split 7-inch with Pokey LaFarge and Joe Manning returned to us from a distributor. There are 34 copies, and we’ll be selling them for the same price, $6, not including shipping.
