The Phantom Family Halo returns to Coco 66 on Friday, Jan. 28. Their 2009 release from us, Monoliths & These Flowers Never Die, is in stores now on limited edition double LP via NAIL, and in the U.K. via Code 7. Each copy comes with a free download of all 18 songs.

As well, Halo just announced a split 10-inch release due in April with Drag City artist Bonnie “Prince” Billy via Sophomore Lounge, which released Halo’s newest, Music For Italian TV.

Rachel Grimes adds Italy shows

Rachel Grimes will perform Nov. 19 as part of the Piano Hour Series in Firenze, and Nov. 21 at Associazione Musicale Etnea in Catania.

Her limited edition “Book Of Leaves” for solo piano LP is available in Europe from Code 7 (UK) and Mandai (Belgium, Luxembourg and The Netherlands).

The Fervor, Lucky Pineapple / NULU

Lucky Pineapple and The Fervor will both appear the NULU Festival on East Market Street on Saturday, Oct. 2. The free street festival drew over 3,000 people last year at the close of the city’s IdeaFest.

The Yellow Belt, featuring Lucky Pineapple’s exclusive track, “Kablooey” and The Green Belt, featuring The Fervor’s cut “No Apology,” are available in stores now via NAIL Distribution. The Green Belt is available in the UK via Code 7.

Rachel Grimes adds show in France

Rachel Grimes performs Sept. 20 in Nantes at Le Violon Dingue along with Nils Frahm. Copies of Grimes’ solo piano LP, Book of Leaves, are available now in Europe via Code 7 Music (U.K.), Mandai (BeNeLux territories) and Linus (Japan). Additionally, if you live in the U.S., you can buy a special MP33.3 version of the album from the Think Indie digital store. The audio is 320kbps MP3, and was taken directly from the vinyl itself.
